Button Lovers Cleaning Glass

There are 2 types of glass buttons when it comes to cleaning. The first is buttons, which were painted with enamel paint (both hot and cold), a luster treatment, or any embellishments including foil under glass.

The other type is just glass with no embellishment and is covered in the Recommend Cleaning Method WITHOUT Embellishments section.

Recommend Cleaning Method WITH Embellishment

Don’t submerge into water if the button contains foil under glass.
Don't use abrasive cloths, harsh chemicals that can be found in metal polish, ammonia, detergents, chlorine, perfume, or ultrasonic cleaners, which can damage the enamel paint and luster treatment. Bio grade jewelry paste can be used for hard to clean areas.
Initially, wipe gently with a soft jewelry cloth, or soft bristle brush.
If dusting alone is not enough, clean with water and mild soap such as Ivory Snow or Orvus WA Paste Cleaner using a soft cloth or cotton swab.
Can use Fiberglass scratch brush pen for jewelry to clean the deep groves.
Rinse with dry soft cloth with clean water to remove soap or jewelry paste was used.
Wipe dry immediately.
